Trekking:
"Visiting the Barco Reale Mediceo"
Gli Arancini's olive grove borders on the Montalbano wood, a particularly
suitable area for excursions thanks to its large number of signposted
paths. These long walks wind through the ancient Barco Reale game
reserve, enclosed by the Medici family in 1626 with a wall of around
50 km long, in order to create a hunting ground for the Grand Dukes.
Only a few stretches of the ancient stone wall remain today, bearing
witness to a glorious past. The Montalano area is a natural tourist
attraction, in which the beauty of the environment and the charm
of the Barco Real remain intact and provide a beautiful backdrop
to walks, pony trekking and mountain biking trips. |

| Visitors can discover ancient villages, historical
villas, archaeological sites, ancient woods such as the Pietramarina
Holm Oak wood and the house where Leonardo da Vinci was born. |
...However, you could also decide to enjoy the peace and fresh air
of our cool, breezy garden and laze in the shade of the olives,
fruit trees and copses that surround our entire property.
